NearVibe | UX/UI

This project was created as part of my assignment, where I aimed to make event discovery easy, instant, and location-based. Near Vibe allowed me to combine user research, UX/UI thinking, and visual design to build a complete digital product that helps users effortlessly find nearby events and make their weekends more exciting and meaningful.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

In today’s busy world, people often miss out on local events such as concerts, workshops, and markets simply because they aren’t aware of them. While major events receive heavy promotion, smaller or free events often go unnoticed. Additionally, even when people do discover an event, reaching the location can be difficult due to unclear routes or lack of travel guidance.

Possible Solution

Creating an app with real-time location-based event discovery, a dedicated section for free and local events, and a “How to Reach” feature showing metro or bus routes.

USER PERSONAS

The user personas section gives a clear overview of the kinds of users NearVibe has, their behaviors, demographic information, and pain points when trying to find events around them. These insights show important motivators and frustrations, allowing for design decisions that let NearVibe provide an intuitive, relevant, and user-centered event discovery experience.

User Empathy

I understand the feelings, needs, and frustrations users when they search for local events. Putting myself in their shoes, I learn about the hurdles that users face: whenever they miss events near them, irrelevant recommendations continually pop up, or they just can’t find free activities anywhere. This empathy will help shape a more intuitive and user-centered app that truly supports their event-going journey.
